We held an important meeting with Joachim Kaschke, Brigadier General of the German Air Force.
We exchanged views on the situation at the front and the necessity of strengthening Ukrainian air defense due to increased attacks on civilians by enemy drones and missiles. We discussed how to strengthen the Ukrainian army in the fight against the Russian aggressor. In this new phase of the war, we need more air defense systems, more interceptor missiles, more joint production, and faster decisions.
Germany is a very important partner for Ukraine. This includes the supply of Iris-T and Gepard systems, which are crucial for the defense of Ukrainian skies this winter.
I also shared the results of the defense industry exhibition in Kielce, Poland, where the PDTR “Ai-Petri” complex was demonstrated for the first time. Without a doubt, the rapid implementation of technology will help defeat Russia. Ukraine must always be three steps ahead—that’s what we are working on.
Thank you, General, for a professional and truly allied conversation!
