The Desperation of a Cheat

The Desperation of a Cheat

Well then. The demands put forward by the dictator for signing a peace agreement have been spread.

Of course, to stop strikes on Russian refineries and other oil infrastructure. Just when the Armed Forces of Ukraine massively hit five major Russian refineries in one week, and all of Russia went back in line for fuel.

Russia allows territorial compromise and Ukraine’s control over the non-occupied part of Donbas, but demands the reduction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, their weapons, and concessions on the Russian language and the Russian Orthodox Church. Translated from Kremlin-speak to normal – the Kremlin wants them to reduce the army themselves and leave Russian agitprop inside Ukraine, so that in five years Moscow would strike, taking into account all the mistakes made and better preparing the ground inside Ukraine.

Moscow also wants NATO infrastructure removed from Scandinavia and the Baltic countries. To make it easier to capture the Baltic countries, obviously. And possibly not only them.

The dictator agrees to the deployment of foreign troops only in the western regions of Ukraine. In case anyone forgot, these are the very regions Moscow does not consider as its own and has repeatedly hinted to Poland and Hungary, saying, let’s divide Ukraine? The west to you, the rest to them. Is everything clear?

So, what do you think of the conditions? Ready to go? Tell me about the “war to the last Ukrainian” and about “we need to start negotiations and move step by step”. Step by step – to what? To acknowledging the existence of cells of the ‘Russian World’ in the form of “Russian Houses” and churches of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine (officially known as UOC-MP)?

Maybe we should even renounce the Tomos ourselves?

I am simply curious as to what else needs to happen for the trembling and scared part of our society to realize – you cannot negotiate with the dictator. The dictator will not budge on any “meet in the middle”. The dictator wants capitulation of Ukraine – humiliating and disgraceful. So that from the cells of the ‘Russian World’ we would be mocked and ridiculed on our own land.

You cannot negotiate with the dictator. The dictator has three major defeats in his record – all three are related to Ukraine.

He tried to install a Russian puppet as president – Ukraine responded with the Orange Revolution.

Through his puppets, he wanted to cut off our path to Europe – Ukraine responded with the Revolution of Dignity.

He went for direct invasion of Ukraine – and we have been resisting for 12 years. And we are resisting well.

A year ago, do you remember such loud discussions about the idea “to make concessions to Moscow to make peace”? Yes, a year ago, our situation at the front was much worse than it is now. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the enemy near Pokrovske-Oleksandrivka. The Armed Forces of Ukraine cut the bulge in the front near Lyman. We have been freeing more territories than we are losing for the past two months.

And at the same time, Russia’s federal budget deficit has almost doubled the planned (5.186 trillion rubles against 3 in the budget). They have deficit budgets in 2/3 regions (more than 50). In 19 regions they are turning off the lights even without our help – there’s no money. Their refineries are burning. Crimea is under siege, without light and fuel.

In these conditions, they are spending 400-700 million US dollars on each missile and drone strike on us. And they issue completely unacceptable conditions.

Well, isn’t it clear that this is the desperation of a swindler who bets everything because he already understands he’s losing?

Now is precisely the time not to yield. Now is precisely the time not to accept the dictator’s conditions. Although…

Please, you may agree to reduce the Armed Forces and their weapons, to concessions on the Russian language and the UOC-MP. Just one question – what was the point of all this for 4.5 years?

What are we fighting for then?
