On the topic of riots in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka. This story has a deeper significance than is apparent on the surface. It’s not about violation of rights. It’s about working for Russia in a warring country.
Initially, “getting someone out of the army for a bribe” becomes a business. As in the case with this Moloda, who, as it turned out, wanted to pull a specific soldier out for $7000 and, as it later turned out, was systematically doing so while simultaneously supporting Russian narratives on social media.
Such actions begin to be informationally supported by Russia. Sharii, Fistingbimber, Skabeyeva – many noted in this movement.
And then, what happened, happened. An ambulance from a non-existent clinic arrives. A circus begins with provocateurs talking about torture, a dead soldier, and more (which was not confirmed). People become agitated, urged on by misinformation, and demand justice.
Then – clashes that are fueled from within by provocateurs.
And here is the result. Attacks on the military. Insults to soldiers.
Someone is trying to draw a line between civilians and the military, forgetting that today’s soldiers – are the same civilians who went to serve, some even reluctantly, but who understand their environment, their role, the need for them in this society, adapted, and serve. And now someone is trying to draw a negative line between all of them.
It is clear that there will be a response. Many veterans and activists have already expressed their desire to resist such actions by unconventional methods.
But this is exactly what Russia needs. To drive a wedge between layers of society. To make them enemies. To shed blood, to create shots fired, to give both sides more reasons to attack each other.
Some play into this for payment. Others foolishly, because they have been incited and do not understand that they are useful idiots in the hands of Russia, which wants to use them to create social conflict. Yes, there is a separate impotence of state agencies that led to this. There is a reluctance of the authorities to take political responsibility for strengthening accountability for such actions. And that’s why we are here.
But we must remember, whoever wins in the next conflict, only Russia wins. I understand those who are afraid to go to the army and do not want to do it voluntarily. It’s understandable. Not everyone is decisive. I am not decisive. I was scared too. Many times. I had to pull myself together, take a deep breath, and step into the unknown. So I understand those who cannot make themselves take such a step.
But there’s one thing – being afraid. Another thing is taking actions that help Russia achieve its goals in Ukrainian society for money or just to justify their pacifist position to themselves.
Therefore, there is a big request to both sides. Do not push such situations to extremes. Neither the military and veterans who are offended by this situation. Nor the civilians who were on the other side of the barricades. We are all Ukrainians. We all have to live together.
Well, a bot farm targeted my posts on these events. Some posts were deleted for harassment. After which the bot farm started throwing complaints on my old posts, so my account may soon be blocked. But I ask society to remember who the enemy is in this situation. Be aware.
