Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and many other cities live under constant attacks by strike drones, against which there is no effective defense. Every day, logistics centers are burning, gas stations are exploding, and large and small businesses are being destroyed.
The situation has also changed on the battlefield. This is not a war of tanks or even drones, as we are used to saying. Now, it is a war of technologies. Those who lead in technologies are ahead in the war.
Once we began by asking Ukraine’s partners to close the sky. When this did not happen, individual teams decided to invest in “Research and Development” — our own Ukrainian developments. One of the most successful was the Ay-Petri complex to counter the enemy’s technical reconnaissance.
Today we are handing over TEN Ay-Petri complexes to the Armed Forces. They blind strike drones and prevent them from reaching their targets. Ultimately, this technological advantage translates into saved lives of Ukrainian soldiers.
It’s a shame that the current majority failed to do their job today. We were urged to urgently vote on 45 laws to receive 8 billion from partners for defense. But somehow, they remained silent about the 12 billion euros for which the Sviridenko government was responsible.
We are not waiting. We continue to work for those who protect our sky and our land every day.
