A good meeting in Kyiv with Radosław Sikorski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland.
We exchanged assessments of the current stage of the war and effective strategies in response to Russian aggression. We also talked about the prospects for diplomacy, where the first step should be a comprehensive and unconditional ceasefire.
Separately, we discussed strengthening Ukraine’s resilience ahead of winter, particularly enhancing air defense and ensuring the necessary number of missiles to protect Ukrainian cities, energy, and critical infrastructure.
Special attention was paid to the importance of strengthening democracy, the rule of law, and human rights, especially for a state that is moving towards membership in the European Union.
