The nighttime arrival of Flamingo cruise missiles at the Progress rocket and space center in Samara’s Bezymyanka is an event of strategic scale. This is not just an ordinary plant or repair base but the heart of the enemy’s entire space and satellite infrastructure. Such a precise operation will not only result in significant consequences for Rassvet.
Samara’s Progress is the absolute monopolist in the production of Soyuz-2 rocket carriers, which Russia uses to launch almost all of its military and civilian payloads into orbit.
The enterprise’s history dates back to the Soviet merger of CSKB and Progress plant, and by the end of 2015, it was fully integrated into the state corporation Roscosmos. For decades, they accumulated unique technologies for welding aluminum-lithium tanks, assembling precision equipment, and calibrating optical systems. There is simply nowhere in Russia to replace or duplicate these capacities.
The losses for the Russians from the stoppage of Progress far exceed the cancellation of rocket launches. Besides producing the Soyuz-2 carriers, the enterprise is the main developer and manufacturer of key military reconnaissance satellites. Here they assemble the Lotos-S1 and Pion-NKS radio reconnaissance systems from the Liana system, which guide the Russian Kalibr and Tsirkon cruise missiles on sea and land targets. They develop Bars-M and Razdan optical reconnaissance satellites, as well as Neutron radar observation units. The paralysis of Progress automatically blinds the Russian space reconnaissance group and stops the rotation of the Resource-P series remote sensing satellites.
A separate blow has been dealt to the manned program, as the Soyuz MS ships and Progress MS cargo ships to the ISS are launched exclusively on Samara rockets.
An additional critical track is the Rassvet project from Bureau 1440. The enemy was trying at an accelerated pace to deploy its own Starlink analogue to provide the front with satellite communication and real-time drone control. Since one Soyuz-2.1b launches a batch of 16 serial Rassvet-3 units into orbit, the stoppage of the Samara conveyor completely disrupts the Russians’ plans to form a group of several hundred satellites.
Details from OSINT specialists clearly explain why these hits were critical. The missiles struck an adjacent complex of two key buildings – 106A and 106B. Building 106A was responsible for assembling onboard electronics, cable networks, instrument compartments, and testing satellites in clean zones. This is literally the “brain” of rockets and space devices. Building 106B is the main final assembly hall. Fire, detonation, and subsequent extinguishing with water destroyed unique control and measurement stands and a scarce import element base.
A full-fledged replacement plant for Progress does not exist in Russia.
The Omsk enterprise Polyot and the Moscow Khrunichev Center are occupied with the production of Angara rockets and lack both technological lines and equipment for the Soyuz-2. The Krasnoyarsk Krasmash is tailored for Sarmat ballistic missiles. Relocating the production of Soyuz to another site under severe sanctions and without access to Western machinery will take at least 3-5 years.
As a result of one precise strike, the enemy not only lost a plant but the sole conveyor for deploying its military space, reconnaissance apparatus, and tactical communications into orbit. This is truly our strategic move and strike.
P.S. I can imagine now all those grandfathers who for many months crossed themselves and went to church to light candles whenever hits occurred on various Samara and regional objects, thinking our targets were only oil facilities. We struck everywhere except Progress. Now the grandfathers will only be lighting anal candles because nothing else will help 😆.

The strike on RKC “Progress” cannot be overrated.
This is a strike on Rassvet — the equivalent of Starlink for the pigs.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the target was hit followed by a fire on the premises. Zelensky announced the strike was delivered by the Flamingo missile. And judging by Denis Shtylerman publishing footage of Flamingo night launches over the Samara region, the command was celebrating this night.
And it’s really super.
Because Rassvet is a real thorn and will change the balance of power if the orcs obtain it.
Ukraine has no right to wait.
“Rassvet” is created by the Russian “Bureau 1440”. The design bureau is located in Moscow, where it develops and manufactures its satellites. The Mission Control Center, from where specialists control the “Rassvet” satellites, is also based there.
However, a rocket is needed to launch the satellites into orbit.
And only one factory that was assembling “Soyuz” rockets is affected today.
The good thing is: Russia doesn’t have Musk’s technology, Russia doesn’t know how to return a rocket from space to the launch pad. Each rocket launch is the last in its lifetime. This means new rockets need to be assembled constantly.
And it is precisely the assembly of new Soyuz-2 rockets that has been targeted.
According to OSINT analysts, the strike hit the 106A building. The video from the site shows a huge explosion near the buildings. In this workshop, sensitive rocket electronics are assembled.
The target was chosen perfectly. A ton of explosives near a specially certified room of the highest cleanliness class, delicate instruments, rocket electronics – it’s just what the doctor ordered.
The last launch by the rockets was on July 19, 2026. Before that, the first serial batch was launched on March 23, 2026. Each of these launches placed 16 satellites into orbit. For both missions, the rockets were provided by the RCC “Progress”.
In total, the plan is to have a group of 300 satellites for stable satellite internet. That means, unless launches are adjusted with the heavy Angara, at least 20 launches will be needed. Plus losses of satellites due to defects. Already one of the 16 launched in March failed. 1 out of 16 is a 6% defect rate. Thus, an additional 17-18 spare satellites – plus an additional Soyuz-2 launch.
With Rassvet, they can guide explosives on people in real-time, adjust the course of cruise missiles, and target KABs in real-time. Russia already has over Ukraine two windows a day for an hour each when it has stable internet.
Therefore, Ukraine tried to attack the first satellite launch directly at the Plesetsk cosmodrome, where satellites brought from Moscow are mounted on the “Fregat” upper stage. The CEO of “Roscosmos,” Dmitry Bakanov, reported an attempted drone strike on the cosmodrome on the launch day in March.
And it’s good that the General Staff doesn’t stop. If there are Flamingo and ballistic capabilities, this is exactly the target they need to hit right now, before defenses are strengthened.
We need to strike down the serpent and destroy its technology.
Under sanctions, they will run around the world for decades replacing machines sold during Merkel’s times.
Keep working, brothers! We’ll keep you busy with this work.
