Russians believe they can script their own program into the brain of a Ukrainian child.
In psychology, part of the field adheres to the theory that genes play the primary role in the development of a child’s psyche. Another part holds the theory that genes are not the main factor, and that you can raise a child to be the way you want them to be. There are also those who combine these theories. This is a simplified explanation.
So, the Russians, particularly during the Soviet era, relied on the second theory—they disregarded genetic data, did not believe in its influence. They “educated” the masses—the masses had to be obedient, convenient, “correct”, with a specific ideology (imposed by Moscow).
They are doing the same now. Ukrainian children, taken and appropriated by Russians, are subjected to treatment with the same goal—to “upload” into their consciousness the program that teaches them to hate Ukraine and die for Russia. According to human rights activists, during these years of war, approximately 1.5 million (!) children have fallen under Russian influence. As I understand it, these are generally abducted, deported, and those who are currently in occupation learning the “Russian language” and “history of New Russia.”

I do not know if there is any statistics on how this theory works. On one hand, the result of such a program is a large number of collaborators. On the other hand, this was also instilled in the minds of our parents and grandparents, but a sufficient proportion of citizens of Ukraine, born during Soviet times, did not accept this program. We still have statehood because either the right genes worked or the Soviet program did not take root.
I also read research on the Stanford prison experiment. The prison does win. The point is that when a healthy person ends up in a bad environment, the environment is very likely to change them for the worse. The environment can identify and highlight the worst qualities in a person, and they will almost break down. That is, they will succumb to the influence of the environment—this was confirmed in the experiment.
In our case, the “prison” is Russia and its “theory” of brainwashing the Ukrainians it has abducted. Perhaps, in this aspect, it will win, and we will have 1.5 million of our children who will grow up under Russia’s influence to become our enemies.
And this is pure genocide.
