Excavators remain in short supply for the front — and that’s bad news. Brigades desperately need them because they have to dig in, build defense lines, and protect the lives of personnel.
The Poroshenko Foundation together with a Ukrainian manufacturer is the only entity producing and delivering new excavators to the military. At our request, the TDC company increased production volumes — now we manufacture three, four, or even five excavators a month. Each excavator costs over 3 million hryvnias, and we are already supplying the second hundred to the military.
Today we are delivering another batch of excavators for six units. Despite sanctions and an illegal Supreme Court decision. We do this with a single purpose — for the war to end, and for our soldiers to return home and engage in peaceful construction.
The first step towards peace is a ceasefire. With hellish sanctions, arms supplies, and the strength of our military, we need to pressure Putin and make further military actions impossible. That’s why we anticipated the visit to the United States and the restoration of normal dialogue with our strategic partner, which was damaged a year and a half ago.
Together with European Solidarity, we will not allow reforms to stop and will fight to reboot the State Bureau of Investigation, which prosecutes civic activists, anti-corruption fighters, and the opposition.
Meanwhile, we are doing another equally important task — delivering the next batch of aid to our military. Excavators and mobile sawmills to enable the Land Forces, Air Assault Forces, Naval Forces, and Air Forces to set up combat positions and build an impregnable wall that will not let the enemy through.
We are delivering assault ATVs, generators, and charging stations to combat brigades for daily combat missions. All this equipment cost us almost 22 million hryvnias. This amount could have been twice as much if not for criminal sanctions.
We have no right to give up. We will continue to help our soldiers, strengthen the Ukrainian army, and do everything for Ukraine to win. Because peace comes only to the strong.
