The politicians also condemned Moscow’s decision to seize the assets of European companies, including France’s Auchan and Switzerland’s Nestlé, calling this hostile actions against European business, writes Reuters.
Le Pen and Bardella expressed support for measures to strengthen the protection of France’s strategic infrastructure. Previously, Emmanuel Macron instructed the government to develop a plan to counter Russian hybrid attacks, including threats to critical infrastructure.
The statement came after a meeting of political forces at the Elysée Palace, where the French leadership informed them about the deteriorating security situation and current geopolitical threats.
