Today, Prime Minister Svyrydenko assured me that by July a draft military reform will be considered in the Verkhovna Rada, including the demands of European Solidarity.
This happened at the Conciliation Council, where a meeting took place with faction leaders, Prime Minister Svyrydenko, Finance Minister Marchenko, and Deputy Prime Minister Kachka. And we came to a result.
What will this mean? In case of adoption, the monetary allowance for military personnel will increase to 30,000 hryvnias, and for those serving directly on the frontline, it will be 250,000-400,000 hryvnias. This will also mean setting final service terms. This will motivate those who are just signing a contract and those who are already serving. Without these points, military reform will not work.
But for now, we work with what we have. Yesterday in the Verkhovna Rada, the government took 40 billion hryvnias from the army for purchasing equipment and increasing monetary allowances.
In the meantime, we are delivering another batch of 25 PDTR “Ai-Petri” complexes to the military, totaling 260,000,000 hryvnias. Just at once. It’s the first time part of the payment was made by our foreign partners. One of the NATO countries purchased Ukrainian equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is a true recognition of the Ukrainian defense industry.
Our team is working to close the sky on the front with as many “Ai-Petri” complexes as possible.
