Since the end of September-beginning of October, the enemy has been using a new tactic. And Ukraine turned out to be not quite ready for it.
Our Armed Forces, our defense industry, and the support of our partners have always provided us with a technological advantage over the Russian aggressor. Now the enemy is massively deploying reactive drones and new multichannel antennas “Comet,” which significantly complicate the operation of our EW and ISR systems.
This requires concentration of efforts, constant modernization, and improvement of the technologies we use against the enemy. It forces us to switch to round-the-clock shifts and relocate production, including to underground workshops.
We are upgrading not only our counterintelligence means but also our electronic intelligence: direction finders, new high-frequency amplifiers, and transmitters. Effectively, only they, when properly applied, disrupt the network connection and blind attack systems.
Today, we are handing over five systems, funded by a subsidy from the city of Kyiv, to the leadership of the Ground Forces and other units. I thank the Kyiv community and the Kyiv City Council for such cooperation. All of them will cover the airspace of the capital.
Modern. Effective. And in the hands of true professionals — the warriors of the Armed Forces.
Defense must be modern, technological, layered: radar fields, acoustic beacons, intercept drones, missiles. We are doing everything we can for this.
