▶ There is no point in discussing what Witkoff said to the most monstrous war criminal since World War II, a serial killer, that he is “very humane.” That’s clear to everyone.
What Witkoff discussed for several hours with Putin and Dmitriev in St. Petersburg can be guessed from Russian reports and what Putin himself said about this conversation on Thursday in his interview with the Russian propaganda mouthpiece.
Their main topic was “economic cooperation” between Russia and the USA.
In reality, this means they discussed the terms of Putin selling Lukoil’s foreign assets for $20 billion to a corrupt consortium, which will be under the control of Trump and his family, with the participation of Witkoff and his son, as well as four billionaires (two from Qatar and one from the UAE, already financing Trump’s businesses and family, and one American who transferred money to Trump’s political funds).
It’s no coincidence that OFAC (the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Treasury, responsible for sanctions) issued a general license the day before yesterday, allowing financial transactions related to the sale of Lukoil’s foreign assets.
Apparently, this corrupt deal on blood is progressing very actively.
Another project they are clearly discussing is the resumption of Russian gas supplies to the EU. It is likely that they also plan to create a corrupt “consortium” to manage the “Nord Streams” and the Ukrainian gas transportation system. Whether the EU will agree to buy Russian gas again is not being questioned; they apparently hope for a victory of the far-right in the French, and then German, elections. They are not only hoping for this but are also strongly supporting them from both the Kremlin and the current White House.
Unlike the “Lukoil” deal, this “business project” is still in the planning stage.
But their plans are clear. The greedy “stable genius” from the White House very much wants to rake in as much money as possible from “business projects” with the bloody “humanist” from the Kremlin.
▶ This “humanist” also clearly explained in the aforementioned interview what he plans to discuss in the trilateral “negotiations”: “Russians and Ukrainians are one people”, “we want peace”, “all our goals will be achieved”, “we will negotiate security guarantees for Ukraine, Russia, and Europe”.
This makes it clear that there have been and will be no real negotiations. His goal remains unchanged – the destruction of Ukraine and its identity. Seeing that he cannot currently occupy all of Ukraine, he will seek its capitulation – the surrender of Donbas to the occupiers and the fulfillment of other conditions. He will set conditions for limiting the size of the Ukrainian army and its armaments. He will demand recognition of the state status of the Russian language in Ukraine and the operation of the Russian church. It’s clear that he envisions the process of seizing Ukraine similarly to Hitler’s takeover of Czechoslovakia six months after the Sudetenland was ceded to him. Back then, five and a half months passed between the cession of the Sudetenland and the liquidation of Czechoslovakia.
He will again present conditions similar to those of December 2021 – demanding the withdrawal of all Western NATO troops from Central Europe, together with their armaments and those acquired by the armies of these countries after joining the Alliance. He will demand guarantees that no former Soviet republic will join NATO or the EU.
From all this, it is also evident that all the so-called “negotiations” have been and remain a spectacle for one viewer – the “stable genius” from the White House.
Hot phases of wars do not end as a result of negotiations.
They cease along with the actual wars in the event of the capitulation of one of the parties. Or in the case of a mutual desire to cease fire. In the latter case, the fire ceases on the existing front line, after which the parties may engage in peace negotiations for many years (as, for example, Israel and Egypt or Israel and Jordan). Or they may not conduct such negotiations. But they also do not engage in large-scale military actions (as, for example, Israel and Syria).
▶ In the U.S., there are harsh voices from many Democratic lawmakers and less harsh but distinct voices from some Republican lawmakers that the dependence of the U.S. and its national security interests on the whims of one person—a trillionaire, Elon Musk—is unacceptable. If one person, a private individual, can at will disable a service run by his company but subject to U.S. government control, crucial for national security interests—Starshield—even by notifying the president about it, there are no guarantees that he will not do the same again at any moment, at his own discretion, if he wishes.
A whole group of likely future committee chairs of the House of Representatives (in case of a Democratic victory) plans to conduct an investigation into Musk’s activities in this area, as well as his role in the creation and operation of an illegal department of government efficiency, seriously disrupting the functioning of most federal government agencies, dismissing 250,000 of its employees, destroying the USAID agency, and abolishing American humanitarian and economic aid to many dozens of countries—the soft power by which the U.S. spread its influence in the world.
If the House of Representatives comes under Democratic control, Musk will be summoned to testify under oath, and the investigation into his activities will be very serious.
