Kostiantynivka…
So, since the authors of the “liberated Kupyansk” decided to “repeat” and yesterday reported to the war criminal President of Russia Vladimir Putin about the “liberation” of Kostiantynivka, it makes sense to review what is happening in the city.
First of all, there is no complete capture of Kostiantynivka by Russian troops. The generation of fakes about “liberations” was quite predictable given the stagnation of ROV in the combat zone and the extremely unsuccessful, if not more, disastrous start of the summer offensive campaign.
Nonetheless, the situation in the city remains extremely difficult.
Units of the 8th OVA and the 3rd AC conduct daily, non-stop infiltrations into the city with small groups of assault troops, mainly singles and pairs. The situation is particularly unfavorable in the western areas of the city, adjacent to Ilyinovka and Berestok, which are under the control of ROV, facilitating their accumulation and concentration of forces before infiltrating the city itself. In Kostiantynivka, there are many administrative buildings on the western outskirts, namely, the city infectious diseases hospital, school No. 1, construction lyceum No. 39, and others, which make it easier for the enemy to consolidate and further advance.
The Southern and Sunny districts have become the main springboards for infiltrations, and then the enemy tries to move along Freedom Avenue to Belgian Street to cut off the northern areas of the city at the Northern overpass bridge location. These actions are carried out to isolate a vast industrial zone in the center of Kostiantynivka along the right and left banks of Kryvyi Torets. The industrial area is not controlled by ROV.
In turn, from the eastern side, the 3rd AC has more problems than the western infiltrators of the 8th OVA.
There are not many zones for accumulating forces along highway N-32 before infiltration, and mainly the enemy moves through fields, forest plantations, and other features of the crossed terrain, allowing some of the assault troops to be eliminated remotely on the approaches to the city. Nevertheless, regular infiltrations along Sobornosti Street, the possibility of gaining a foothold at the tram depot and ATP, as well as the private sector of Shanghai and Gora, have opened the way for ROV to Metallohr and the 81st and 92nd quarters.
Stating that the enemy has stable zones of control in Kostiantynivka is incorrect; there are infiltration zones with the total presence of 130-140 occupiers, which are either worked on remotely or directly cleared of their shelters.
Again, the situation in Kostiantynivka is extremely difficult, and being realistic, I do not rule out the development of events in the worst-case scenario, but urban battles and combat operations in the city continue, and the city itself continues to defend.
The report to Putin is another manipulation intended to distract from the failures of the Russian army in the combat zone itself and the crisis that increasingly engulfs more regions of Russia, and the inability of the Russian authorities to influence the situation or protect the Russians themselves.
