The authorities are preparing a raider takeover of the “European Solidarity” party office, said the co-chair of the faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Iryna Herashchenko, at a briefing.
“As ‘European Solidarity’ has reliably learned, the authorities are preparing a new provocation against our political team. Let me remind you, exactly a year ago, Zelensky imposed sanctions against Poroshenko. In a year, no one has explained the reason, the basis, except for political hatred towards his main opponent. One of the objectives of these sanctions at that time was the desire to ban the ‘European Solidarity’ party. Despite the loud political scandal, it was unsuccessful, but the authorities do not stop,” said Herashchenko.
“The next step is an attempt to evict us from the office, from our space, which over these years has become more than just a party office,” noted Herashchenko. According to her, the authorities have devised a way to evict the party despite the fact that the rent for the premises is paid three months in advance and there is a lease agreement.
“But who cares in a country where the President’s office still governs the courts through telephone law? According to our information, a puppet show is planned here with ‘positive bloggers.’ ‘European Solidarity’ publicly and officially addresses the Minister of Internal Affairs, Klymenko. Obviously, the police in a warring country today have a lot of work. We have great respect for the activities that the Ministry of Internal Affairs actually undertakes in protecting the population, evacuations, and other very challenging tasks. Our rescue service also belongs to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We urge you not to allow the politicization of the Ministry’s activities. This already happened during Yanukovych’s time, when the ministry was used as a club against the opposition, when the offices of opposition parties were similarly harassed,” the MP reminded.
She also noted that the authorities have no issues with OPZZh: “they are thriving. The leaders of the Party of Regions, on the contrary, are receiving new preferences, new lands in Transcarpathia, and so on. There are no questions, for example, to the office of the ‘Servant of the People’ party. They have entrenched themselves on Yanukovych’s helipad, a building in the center of Kyiv, on the Dnipro slopes, which was illegally constructed, without any permission. But conveniently close to the Mindich office. It was very convenient to ‘hold consultations.’ But there are no questions for the offices of ‘Servant of the People’ or OPZZh, only for ‘European Solidarity,’” Geraashchenko ironically notes.
‘Euro Solidarity’ also warns that any attempt to evict the largest opposition force, which is a member of the ‘European People’s Party’ (EPP) family, is a shot in Ukraine’s European future. This would be the final destruction of trust, initiated by attacks on anti-corruption bodies, independent media, opposition politicians, civil activists, and the military.
“We want to warn immediately: our team will not allow this process to be politicized. For us, this is not just an office; we are here on absolutely legal grounds. I reiterate: all the payments for rent have been made in advance, the new rental agreement is in place,” Geraashchenko showed the documents.
“Any attempts to stage a masquerade here will be regarded by our team as a political act against the opposition and the beginning of an election campaign by the authorities, which follows the patterns of Yanukovych’s party,” Iryna Geraashchenko is convinced.
MP Viktoria Siumar added that since the start of the full-scale invasion, a hub for large-scale aid to the military and civilians has been operating in the ‘Euro Solidarity’ party office. As known, the team of Poroshenko’s assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine brigades has already exceeded 8 billion UAH.
“On a daily basis, the transfer of military equipment, which is the assistance of the Poroshenko Foundation, ‘Sprava Hromad’, to various military brigades takes place. When you see all these flags in our office, when you see all these distinctions and awards, it is truly the gratitude of the military, who today are often left alone with the war because the state cannot adequately provide for them. Therefore, volunteers and funds are forced to do this four years into the full-scale invasion. This was our decision from the first day of the full-scale war, and we continue this activity now,” emphasizes Siumar.
“We also have a lot of humanitarian programs. Behind us, you see gas burners being received by Kyiv residents who are left without heat in their apartments and cannot even cook food for people with disabilities or small children. Many of our local deputies are engaged in helping such people who do not receive appropriate assistance from the state,” emphasizes Viktoria Siumar.
“Therefore, we also perceive the attack as an obstruction to helping the army. We perceive this as an obstruction to our volunteer work and, of course, as an obstruction to our political activity – which includes educating youth, protecting local self-government, the rights of Ukrainian teachers, doctors, and internally displaced persons,” says the deputy.
“Tomorrow we have international meetings with ambassadors of the European Union countries planned. Training courses for Ukrainian youth are also scheduled for tomorrow. So this will be crossing any red lines. If they put obstacles in the way of the party that chose four years ago to support our Armed Forces, it means that the authorities ultimately want to cleanse the opposition and the country of any healthy alternative,” warns Siumar.
“We constantly talk about unity. We understand that Ukraine can only withstand such a terrible war by uniting all healthy forces. If today we start this war inside the country, if hostile takeovers of party offices begin, only the enemies will rejoice. Do not create these images for Russian television. Let national unity and the desire for our common Ukrainian victory, as well as common sense, finally prevail,” called Viktoria Siumar.
With a persistence worthy of a better cause, Zelensky’s Telegram team spreads a fake about the “debts” of European Solidarity, allegedly due to which they are to be evicted from their office.
There are no debts, everything is paid. Documents were presented at a briefing yesterday, they are available and clearly known to the raiders.

Nor about security risks (particularly the supply of weapons and ammunition, primarily for air defense), nor economic risks (primarily rising fuel prices, which have already “preventively” begun).
There are issues galore. Unfortunately, the level of these issues is above the capabilities of the current ones. Because they act precisely at their level of understanding.

What to do? Expel Poroshenko from the office. Illegal? Well, it won’t work, but at least there will be a show.
