All media outlets are full of reports about the deep parliamentary crisis in Ukraine.
But it’s much worse. This is not a crisis of parliament, but a crisis of state governance.

The cause is not NABU and SAP, not the opposition, nor civil activists. The cause is corruption and total incompetence of the authorities.

The network of Telegram channels and “Ze-bloggers” controlled by the President’s Office is trying to convince and force NABU and deputies to work.
European Solidarity proposes its agenda. Daily focus on European integration reforms, a component of the Kachka-Kos plan. This is about the rule of law and independence of courts. And also the restructuring of the State Bureau of Investigation, as desired by the European Union and feared by the Ukrainian authorities. They don’t even come close to this issue.

Pay attention to the bill that bears my signature from 2022. It concerns the voluntary right of people’s representatives to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As of now, there are 26 representatives of European Solidarity in parliament, although there should be 27. Because our Tetyana Chornovol is serving in the military. We demand that she be allowed to both serve and be a deputy. But for unclear reasons, this issue is not being brought up for discussion in the parliamentary chamber.

An important step should be the cleansing of the Government, control bodies, and the President’s Office from the figures involved in the “Mindich tapes.” Not only Shefir, Yermak, but many others. Do not cover for them.

The next thing the authorities should do is restore parliament as an institution and consider urgent bills. Stop populism, “Euro-bargains,” and the distribution of funds with which you buy votes.
