Petro Poroshenko

Kyiv has been waking up to alarms for several weeks now, which do not cease. The Russians have changed tactics, and now the capital is terrorized by waves of jet drones, for which there is currently no effective counteraction.

Rescuers, repair workers, and utility services operate under explosions, and residents of Kyiv live in conditions close to combat. Therefore, they want peace much more than politicians. And they deserve it. But the ones who want peace the most are the soldiers: rotations, demobilization, to return home with honor, having defended Ukraine.

But what kind of peace? When Ukraine loses sovereignty? When someone from outside restricts our army? When the bony hand of the aggressor grips our church by the throat, and permission to speak Ukrainian must be asked from someone? This is not peace. This is capitulation.

People ask me: do you have a peace plan? Of course, I do, and I have been demonstrating it since 2014. The best assessment of the Minsk agreements for me is Putin’s words that Merkel and I deceived him and gave Ukraine five years to build an army. I saved Ukraine, which had neither a combat-ready reserve nor money in the treasury. And I succeeded.

In 2022-2023, we were told that there would be no Minsk-3 and that a ceasefire was unnecessary, but that security guarantees, summits, and some negotiations were needed. What needed to be done was what I proposed: an immediate, comprehensive, unconditional, and complete ceasefire. Then sit down and conduct any negotiations.

And this plan is still relevant. And arguments in negotiations can be provided by our best diplomat — the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), because it is the army that gives Ukraine a strong position. Therefore, every week each of us, be it a volunteer, philanthropist, or politician, must report: what have I done to make Ukraine’s position stronger? And I’m not talking about pointless draft laws and not about “powerful” talk on telethons. The most anyone can do is help the AFU.

For example, yesterday we delivered 10 “Ai-Petri” complexes manufactured under a state contract. Today we are delivering 149 units of equipment and devices.

Received by the 24th, 30th, 154th, and 159th Mechanized Brigades, 55th Artillery Brigade, 113th and 114th Territorial Defense Brigades, 145th and 520th Repair and Restoration Regiments, and 531st Guard and Maintenance Battalion.

  • EFPOWER YH3500 inverter generators;
  • OUKITEL 2 kW charging stations;
  • “Ant” ATVs;
  • Buggies;
  • Container battery stations;
  • Container repair workshops based on trailers.

The stronger the army, the closer the just peace. So let’s keep working.
