The enemy continues to attack Ukraine with ballistics. Almost every day, there are casualties and injuries. Unfortunately, this is the grim reality.
And all this while the country still does not have a Minister of Defense. The society is eagerly waiting for the President’s Office to submit the candidacy of Mykhailo Fedorov. Our team demands the immediate convening of the parliament to vote on this.
For two years in a row, we have also been demanding to allocate funds to brigades, regiments, and military units. They can best purchase what they need without any corruption.
In the meantime, our team is making the second delivery this week. The first was almost 30 million hryvnias — “Bliskavkas,” “Vyriy” drones on fiber optics, “Starlinks,” and much other equipment. We are now handing over laundry and shower complexes — there are already 350 of them in the military. The Poroshenko Foundation and the NGO Sprava Hromad have spent over 260 million hryvnias on this.
Today, nine units of various military branches received their bathhouses. The guys are satisfied because they are already well acquainted with our complexes. For a serviceman, it’s not just clean clothes, a hot shower after combat, but also a sense of normalcy amidst the chaos of war.
We continue to assist the military day by day, despite the disgraceful, illegal, and unconstitutional decision regarding sanctions. For a whole year and a half, the authorities tried to twist the arms of the Supreme Court judges to prevent the decision to cancel the illegal and unconstitutional sanctions. They decided to hide the very reason why sanctions against the opposition leader were imposed under the label “secret” from Ukrainians. Because it does not exist. But now the European Court of Human Rights will deal with this case.
This is necessary for our accession to the European Union because, without adherence to the rule of law, the dream of millions of Ukrainians will not come true.
And I have no doubt that the truth will prevail.
