We discussed the security situation and the prospects of Ukraine’s membership in the European Union, including the necessary steps for our country to implement reforms. Received assurances of Slovakia’s support for the swift opening of the ‘Foundations’ cluster by the EU Council as part of the accession negotiations.
Welcomed the activation of intergovernmental dialogue and deepening of bilateral cooperation. Slovakia has always been and remains a partner of Ukraine, both as a friendly neighboring country and as a future ally in our united European family.
