- Another defeat for Trump and his “ministry of vengeance” – the federal prosecution
- Another “business project” of Vitkoff-Kushner-Dmitriev
▶ The 47th president and his federal prosecution, the “ministry of vengeance” as Lawrence O’Donnell, the host of the authorial news analytical program on the MS NOW channel aptly calls it, suffered another very sensitive defeat on Tuesday.
One of the goals of Trump’s second time coming to the White House was revenge on everyone he considers his enemies. He intended to carry out his revenge with the help of the federal prosecution, which he effectively made his ministry of vengeance. At his demands, the federal prosecution, fully subordinate to him, initially headed by his former attorney for the first impeachment Pam Bondi, and now headed by his former attorney for his criminal cases Todd Blanche, is ready to present any absurd charges to anyone the beloved president points out as his personal enemy.
And so, on Tuesday, the attempt to bring charges against Cassidy Hutchinson – a key witness of the House Special Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 coup attempt – failed. The House Special Committee, created in the summer of 2021 by then Speaker Nancy Pelosi, conducted a political investigation of the events of January 6 for almost a year and a half. Many witnesses were invited to give testimony in the committee. A report of several hundred pages, published by the committee at the end of 2022, irrefutably proves that Donald Trump sought to disrupt the validation of the 2020 election results first at the state level, then in Congress, and initiated the storming of the Capitol by a crowd of his supporters with the intent of seizing it and disrupting the joint session of Congress, during which Congress was supposed to affirm the results of the presidential election.
Cassidy Hutchinson worked as an assistant to the White House Chief of Staff and was at her workplace on January 6th – in the reception area of the Oval Office. She witnessed everything that happened on January 6th at the White House, the actions and words of the President, who visited him, and had information shared with her by other White House employees, including the President’s legal advisor and his security chief. Cassidy Hutchinson testified under oath about everything she saw and heard, first in her testimony at a closed committee meeting, and later in a live broadcast to the entire nation at the open hearings conducted by the committee.
For this, Trump added her to his list of enemies to be avenged. The federal prosecution attempted to charge Cassidy Hutchinson with giving false testimony to Congress under oath because her account of what Trump’s personal security chief told her — about how Trump, upon entering the presidential limousine, demanded to be taken to the Capitol, which was being stormed by his mob, grabbed the steering wheel showing he was ready to drive himself, and literally physically resisted his security chief — was claimed to be false by the federal prosecution.
But here’s the problem. The USA is one of the first countries in the world to establish a democracy, with one of its attributes being three branches of government, including the judiciary. In the USA, a jury system operates. No one can be found guilty of committing a crime except by a jury, and a unanimous decision is required to convict the accused. Furthermore, to indict someone for a crime in the USA, the prosecution must turn to a grand jury. A grand jury consists of, typically, 23 jurors, ordinary citizens practically selected at random from the community. The prosecution cannot indict anyone without the approval of the majority of grand jury members. If the majority does not agree with the prosecution’s arguments — that a crime was indeed committed, that there are sufficient grounds to believe that a specific person committed this crime, and that there is enough evidence — the prosecution cannot proceed with their indictment in court, as such an indictment is considered untenable and cannot be filed.
On Tuesday, the grand jury of the District of Columbia rejected as unfounded the charge of giving false testimony to Congress under oath, which the federal prosecution attempted to bring against Cassidy Hutchinson.
Federal prosecution, led by Trump’s “general counsel” Blanche, once again embarrassed itself in its desire to please the 47th president and retaliate against his latest “enemy” by bringing an absurd charge.
This has happened before when the federal prosecution attempted to charge six members of Congress with conspiracy over a one-and-a-half-minute video in which they urged the military to remember not to follow illegal orders. The charge fell apart in the grand jury as unfounded. It happened when there was an attempt to charge former FBI Director Comey with giving false testimony to Congress and New York State Attorney General Letitia James – using an illegally appointed acting federal prosecutor; thus, the charges were deemed null and unlawfully filed by the court. It happened when a grand jury in the same District of Columbia rejected the federal prosecution’s attempt to charge someone with assault on a federal service member for throwing a sandwich at an immigration police agent.
But the 47th and his “ministry of revenge” won’t relent. They plan to bring the third charge against former FBI Director James Comey. This time, alleging he disclosed some secret documents to journalists of the New York Times, which led to an article published on October 5, 2016. More than ten years ago. Ten years is the key point. This is the statute of limitations for such a crime. They expired on October 5. And if the federal prosecution dares to go to the grand jury with this utterly absurd charge, the result will be the same – the charge will be rejected as unfounded.
▶ An article was published in the New York Times on Tuesday – a journalistic investigation by Anton Troianovski. It concerns the fourth dirty deal planned by Vitkoff and Kushner on one side and Dmitriev on the other. The first was the sale of ‘Lukoil’s overseas assets to a consortium of Trump’s friends. The second was the creation of another consortium to supply Europe with Russian gas. The third was the development of gas fields in Alaska and the construction of a gas liquefaction terminal there – with Russian participation and partially with Russian funds. And now the fourth – it turns out Dmitriev is lobbying through Vitkoff and Kushner to lift sanctions on the investment fund he heads – one of Putin’s main wallets.
Sanctions against this fund were imposed immediately after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Trump can no longer lift the sanctions completely – the Graham law prohibits this without Congress’s approval. However, there is a loophole. OFAC – The Office of Foreign Assets Control, which handles sanctions, can issue another so-called “general license” to temporarily suspend the sanctions. Dmitriev even came up with a reason for his American partners in “business projects” – this fund is needed to make payments for the “diesel deal,” to ensure it.
The matter is currently under review at OFAC, in the Department of Treasury.
Speaking of the “diesel deal.” Congressman Jamie Raskin, who would become the future chair of its judiciary committee if Democrats win the election to the House of Representatives, reminded on Monday that there is a law in the US prohibiting the import of oil, oil products, and coal from Russia. Violating this law can result in criminal charges and 20 years behind bars. And here’s what’s interesting. Russian Minister Novak solemnly announced that the first tanker with diesel fuel had departed for the US and is supposed to arrive in New York on November 7. However, it turned out that no American company, let alone the federal government, paid for this diesel fuel. It has no buyers in the US. And this tanker, upon entering the Atlantic Ocean, changed its “destination New York” to undefined. This diesel fuel has not been bought yet. Neither in the US nor outside the US.
Now it is completely clear that this entire “diesel deal” is a typical KGB scheme. Putin needed Ukraine to stop striking Russian refineries. He tricked Trump into this deal. Apparently, painting a picture of how Americans would rush to vote for Republicans in the election, hearing that thanks to this deal, diesel fuel prices would drop.
Fuel prices in the US remain high, and since Trump’s announcement of the “diesel deal,” the price of diesel fuel in the US has not decreased by a cent. And Ukraine has not struck Russian refineries for about ten days. Putting the facts together, it can be concluded that this is the price for Ukraine to restore Starshield’s operation.
There is no bottom for the 47th.
But this, along with everything else he does, will become the subject of investigation in the new Congress if Democrats win the elections.
American friends, vote in the elections: by mail, early, on election day. Remember, your votes determine the fate of the US, the fate of Ukraine, and the fate of the entire world.
Remember that the agenda of each chamber of Congress and its committees is entirely determined by the party with the majority.

Ultimately, what happens in the world depends on us. On whether we fight against evil, do Good, remain mere observers, wait passively and believe that someone somewhere will make a decision for us, or fight against evil and do everything possible for Good to prevail.
We must not let evil triumph. The triumph of evil will mean the end of the world we live in. We cannot allow this. Especially now.
Ukrainian friends, I hug and love you all. Take care of each other, please.
Ukraine is and always will be.
And evil will be defeated and punished. And this is certain.
