Today is September 1st, the first day of autumn. And some have not yet started preparing for winter because they were on vacation.
The servants have finally returned from their break. They were on vacation for over a month. But the Armed Forces have no vacations. Firefighters and rescuers have no vacations. Our air defense, which protected Kyiv last night, has no vacations. The military needs proper support and vacations.
Therefore, we continue to help our military. Today we are handing over what is very needed at the front both in summer and winter. The same bath-and-laundry complexes developed by our team. Our goal is for each battalion to have its own bath-and-laundry complex. So that our soldiers have the opportunity to wash, launder, and dry their clothes after combat work.
Today, we are handing over the 350th complex and we do not intend to stop. This program was started by Marina Poroshenko back in 2015. After 2022, we put production on stream. Together with the public organization Sprava Gromad, we have allocated over 300 million hryvnias solely for bath-and-laundry complexes.
Because the military is not just drones, artillery, or the most modern technologies. These are people who live on the front for months and years. And their normal service conditions must also be taken care of.
Therefore, I told the prime minister directly today: there can be no other priorities more important than the provision for the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the war.

The first laundry and shower complex, to be honest, was terrible. It wasn’t even ours. We were just offered to buy it and hand it over to the military. Uncomfortable, awkward, far from ideal. But… it was needed. And the military was truly happy with it.
Then we decided to make a few more. Ourselves. A bit better. Then more. Then more. We constantly gathered feedback, listened to the military, changed, redid, improved, standardized.
By around the twentieth product, the project finally “settled.” If you put complex No. 100 and No. 300 side by side today, they can only be distinguished by the serial number.
Today we handed over 15 more laundry-shower complexes to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Three hundred sixty-four.
When we started, I thought that ten such complexes would already be a great result. Then I thought that fifty was almost the limit. Then came the first hundred.
And now it’s just a conveyor.
And perhaps this is the main emotion today. Not the number 364. But the fact that this conveyor has been working nonstop for the fourth year. Despite the war. Despite the shelling. Despite all the problems. Despite the sanctions, which have dramatically reduced the capacity of the Poroshenko Foundation.
Because the Poroshenko Foundation remains the backbone of this project. Donations from the NGO Sprava Hromad help us continue, but the lion’s share of funding comes from Petro Poroshenko’s personal funds.
We recently specifically surveyed the military about the need for such complexes. If we continue working at the current pace — about 10 complexes per month — then the end of the line is somewhere in… April 2028.
That’s why I don’t feel euphoria from the number 364. I think about the 365th. Then the 366th. Then the 367th.
Because as long as this queue exists, we simply cannot allow this conveyor to stop.
And that’s why tomorrow we will again do what we have been doing for the fourth year: finding money so that in a month we can hand over another ten laundry-shower complexes to the military.
