The first Ukrainian defense plant is starting operations in the United Kingdom – a production complex of the company Ukrspecsystems, whose drones have long proven their effectiveness in high-tech warfare conditions.

Ukraine fights under constant missile attacks, infrastructure destruction, and threats to production. Our engineers create solutions born directly from frontline experience. They improve systems not based on theoretical studies, but on the results of real combat applications.

Therefore, launching production in the United Kingdom has deep strategic logic. This is not shifting the center of gravity from Ukraine. It’s about expanding our joint capabilities and creating a second layer of resilience that ensures continuous production.

We keep the center of engineering expertise in Ukraine, while integrating production into the British defense space. We’re creating a new quality of partnership where allies not only support each other but also form a joint industrial security base.

For Ukraine, this project means stability and the ability for long-term planning. For the UK, it strengthens their own defense industry, provides access to technologies proven in modern warfare, and creates jobs. It’s an example of how to quickly integrate combat experience into industrial solutions and self-security.

Thus, this event has not only economic or technological significance, but also strategic and even civilizational dimensions. We are effectively laying the foundation of a new architecture of European security.

We thank our British friends for their leadership, consistency, and trust.
