Epstein's sex empire was a "KGB honey trap" – Daily Mail

Daily Mail / Translation by iPress

The British Daily Mail, unlike many American media outlets which only briefly mention the names of celebrities associated with Epstein, writes that newly released documents reveal the chilling scale of a Kremlin operation that gave Moscow leverage over part of the American establishment through a network of sexual violence and blackmail.

British intelligence believes that pedophile Jeffrey Epstein ran “the world’s largest honeytrap operation” for the KGB for years, using underage girls and adult women to compromise influential politicians, businessmen, and public figures. The released collection of materials contains over three million documents, with more than 9,600 mentions of Moscow and includes details of Epstein’s conversations with Putin even after his conviction for crimes against children.

This espionage network turned trafficking victims into instruments of geopolitical influence, leaving behind ruined lives and questions about which members of the American elite might still be under the Kremlin’s control.

Convicted pedophile financier, after his sentence, met with Putin multiple times, and Russian girls flew in to gather kompromat on world-famous figures, writes Daily Mail. According to intelligence sources cited by Daily Mail, Jeffrey Epstein ran “the world’s largest honeytrap operation” for the KGB, selecting women for his network of influential connections.

The release of over three million new documents related to the deceased sex offender confirms sensational claims from high-ranking security officials: Epstein worked for Moscow and possibly for Israel, organizing meetings for some of the world’s most powerful men.

The files contain 1,056 documents mentioning Putin and 9,629 documents where Moscow is referenced. Daily Mail writes that Epstein seemingly even managed to arrange a meeting with Putin after his conviction in 2008 for recruiting a minor for prostitution.

As Daily Mail reports, sources claim this might explain why Epstein led an extraordinarily lavish lifestyle that did not match his earnings as a financier. At the same time, there is no documentary evidence directly linking Putin and his spies with Epstein’s illegal activities.

Daily Mail sources also claim that while American intelligence services tracked Epstein’s Russian connections for years, their British counterparts were alarmed by his contacts with the then-Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

In a collection of documents, there is an email claiming that Bill Gates asked one of Epstein’s advisors to provide drugs for treating sexually transmitted infections after “sex with Russian girls.” Gates called this information “absolutely false.”

The files also include a document stating that Epstein offered to introduce Andrew to a beautiful 26-year-old Russian woman in August 2010 – two years after his conviction.

American intelligence experts believe Epstein entered the world of espionage thanks to business contacts with Robert Maxwell – the disgraced media mogul who, like Epstein, died under unclear circumstances. Maxwell’s body was found in 1991 in the Atlantic Ocean; one theory suggests he fell from his yacht.

The publication recalls that Epstein was found hanged in 2019, but his relatives believe he was murdered to keep him silent.

Robert Maxwell’s daughter Ghislaine is serving a 20-year prison term for trafficking minors for sexual exploitation and other crimes related to her connections with Epstein, whom she met shortly after her father’s death.

Intelligence sources claim that Robert Maxwell was a Russian agent since the 1970s, when he was involved in organizing the emigration of Soviet Jews to Israel with the participation of Israeli Mossad.

In return, they say, Maxwell laundered Russian money in the West with the help of Epstein.

They believe the financier was introduced to Maxwell and the KGB by an oil tycoon who also worked for Russian intelligence. Investigation into Robert Maxwell’s business operations revealed connections not only with the KGB and Mossad but also with MI6.

American law enforcement agencies also believe that Epstein had long-standing connections with Russian organized crime, which could have been blackmailing him. This might explain why Epstein seemed to easily bring in “girls” from Russia.

One source stated: “There’s Andrew, Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and others who found themselves in compromising situations on an island filled with technology. It’s the greatest sexual entrapment operation in the world.”

All well-known individuals mentioned in the documents, notes the Daily Mail, deny any wrongdoing.

In one of the emails sent to Epstein on September 11, 2011, an unidentified person discusses a “meeting with Putin” during an upcoming trip to Russia. The author of the email writes to Epstein: “Spoke with Igor. He said that when you were last in Palm Beach, you told him you have a meeting with Putin on September 16 and that he could book a ticket to Russia to arrive a few days before you.”

Epstein reportedly planned another meeting with Putin in 2014. In an email to Epstein, Japanese entrepreneur Joi Ito writes to the pedophile that another American billionaire named Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn, would not be able to join.

“Hi, Jeffrey,” writes Ito. “I couldn’t convince Reid to change his schedule to go with you to the meeting with Putin.” It is unknown if this meeting occurred.

From the next email sent by Ito, it appears that the meeting was canceled after Russian troops shot down a Malaysia Airlines passenger plane over Ukraine on July 17, 2014, resulting in 298 deaths.

Three days later, Ito wrote to Epstein: “Now, after the plane crash, it’s a bad idea.”

In another email sent in November 2010, Epstein asks the recipient if he needs a Russian visa, adding: “I have a friend of Putin’s, should I ask him?”

Other messages indicate that Epstein claimed he could provide the Kremlin with valuable information about Trump ahead of the summit with Putin in Helsinki.

The Daily Mail also mentions that the financier sent a message to Thorbjørn Jagland, the then Secretary General of the Council of Europe, offering to give Putin advice on dealing with the US president. In correspondence in June 2018, Epstein wrote that Russia’s ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, “understood Trump after our conversations.” He advised Jagland, the former prime minister of Norway, to “suggest to Putin that Lavrov get information about the conversation with me.” Epstein also told Jagland that Trump “should get something.” Jagland replied that he would meet with Lavrov’s assistant the following Monday and convey the message.

Earlier that same month, Epstein also sent a message to Steve Bannon, a Trump ally, to inform him that Jagland was to meet with Putin and Lavrov and would then stay overnight at his mansion in Paris.

This correspondence, as noted by the Daily Mail, took place ahead of the Trump-Putin meeting in Helsinki in July 2018, during which the US president stressed that he did not believe Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election.

Another document indicates that the FBI was warned that Epstein was allegedly a Mossad spy.

The FBI management report highlights that a source informed the agency: “Epstein was close to former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and was learning to be a spy from him.” In June 2013, Epstein sent Mr. Barak an email stating: “Putin will change his staff in the summer, leaving only the most trusted people around him… More information by phone or during a personal meeting.”

An anonymous source also emphasized that Epstein was linked to Putin’s former youth organization leader Masha Drokova, a businesswoman from San Francisco who in her teens was an ardent supporter of Putin and appeared in a documentary where she kissed the autocrat.

The source concluded that Drokova’s company, Day One Ventures, was “in Silicon Valley to steal technology.” It also details how an FBI informant discussed Epstein with Drokova.

“The informant and Drokova talked, but Drokova did not speak about technology; instead, she looked at the informant and said, ‘You knew Epstein, didn’t you?’ She added that Epstein was a ‘great person’ and that what was done to him was a ‘great shame.’”

In 2021, journalist-investigator Craig Unger claimed in his book that before becoming president, Trump established ties with Putin’s entourage through his 15-year friendship with Epstein.

In the book “American Kompromat: How the KGB Cultivated Donald Trump,” Unger also claims that Epstein relied on Russian pimps who supplied him with many girls. Unger believes that the FSB, the successor of the KGB, might have obtained blackmail material from numerous videos that Epstein allegedly recorded with his famous friends and girls.
