The Russians struck with cluster munitions at the market in Druzhkivka. Seven dead.
The Russians struck a residential area in Zaporizhzhia, two young people died.
Numerous villages and towns have been wiped off the face of the earth, and the number of dead and wounded will be counted for decades.
Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, attacks, cold terror, the dead seem uncountable.
And do you know what’s in the Russian public chats? Joy.
A simple Russian woman from some remote place or a luxury girl from Moscow, from a run-down hut without water and gas or from a modern apartment on Tverskoy, sincerely rejoice at the deaths of people in Ukraine.
There is no sense in seeking compassion or humanity there.
There is no point in telling that the woman could have plumbing in her hut, or the luxury Muscovite could travel the world without barriers, annoying staff in five-star hotels and not hiding her Russian passport away.
There is no point in negotiating; agreements don’t work where the question is one of a thirst for total destruction.
They don’t want to make us part of their world. They want to digest us and excrete us as a convenient, invisible pellet. Then they will pride themselves on this and tell their children about the Great Victory over the hostile world.
No one will ever remember 18-year-old Stepan from Zaporizhzhia or Grandma Lyuba from Druzhkivka; that country has a cult of death, not life.
I see no point in arguing with them in the comments, proving anything. In their minds, they avenge Donbas, which they themselves killed. In their minds, they fight NATO, not the old lady born in the ’40s from some remote Donbas village.
There’s nothing to talk about.
At all.
They came to kill us, they are doing it. And we can resist for as long as we have strength. Preserving emotions. Not hoping to be heard.
We’ve been heard long ago.
It’s just that they either don’t care, or that’s what they wanted. The world around us will no longer be the same as it was.
Now the law of the strongest and most ruthless prevails here. And that’s why we must become such to survive and remain on the map.
