Last night, the fierce enemy once again destroyed heating and electricity in our homes. Once more, Ukrainians are suffering from mass outages in the -25 frost. European Solidarity-Kyiv and the Poroshenko Foundation have deployed additional “Solidarity Points” in the capital, in areas where the situation is most critical.

There are buildings in Troieshchyna that have been without heat since January 5th. There are apartments where the wallpaper is wet, there are short circuits in the sockets, and mold is already appearing on the walls. If people manage to wash clothes during short periods when the electricity is on, they don’t have time to dry because there’s no heat.

A new “Solidarity Point” is located on Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue, 63 a. Two more are successfully operating on Myloslavska Street, 23 and in Teremky, on Vasyl Kasiyan Street, 10.

Here you can warm up, wash and dry your clothes, charge gadgets, or simply have a cup of hot tea with sweets.

Entire families come to our points. Often, young people bring items from elderly and less mobile individuals living on upper floors. We have to help each other because that is our strength, which the enemy will never understand.
