The goals of “their own” are beginning to reach the Russians

The goals of "their own" are beginning to reach the Russians

It’s interesting to watch discussions about the goals of SVO from Russians.

The year 2024 became the year when everything started to fall apart at the front. Every day we lost 20-30 sq. km of territory. Social demotivation began when the Russians, on the contrary, raised their heads.

But Ukraine stood firm, survived Trump’s reign, restrictions on aid from the USA, and increased its missile and drone capabilities.

The pace of the Russian Federation’s advance began to slow down, and in Russia, to conceal this, they started presenting the captured territories “on credit.” Strikes on the oil industry started to really provoke systemic crises in the Russian Federation.

And so, in the fourth year of the war, Ukrainian drones are taking out military and cargo ships, hitting the fleet already in Novorossiysk, and hitting radars and SAMs in Crimea has become more difficult because, damn it, there are far fewer radars and SAMs, and Russia does not have time to replenish them.

We are striking factories, oil docks in Novorossiysk, blocking tanker shipments, and Russia doesn’t know how to protect this oil export bottleneck. Periodically, of course, they call Novorossiysk and shout: Payne, I can’t feel your SAMs!!! And they answer: That’s because they aren’t there!

The SBS middle strike headquarters, with the help of coordinated units there, can take out several costly SAMs of short and even medium and long range within a day. It is impossible to compensate for such a density of damage to costly and scarce means, and sometimes even specialists.

The geography of missile and drone strikes on the Russian Federation is rapidly expanding every month.
Russians see this. It forms a general picture for them in which the Russian Federation is not really winning if every month there are more and more strikes by cruise missiles and drones, and here the Ukrainians are also announcing their ballistic capability, and unlike the Russian wunderwaffes, the Ukrainian means really work.

Meanwhile, the economy is collapsing, Russians feel it. Putin’s rating and support for SVO is plummeting, even in the controlled media.

And now I see more and more materials where bloggers loyal to Putin constantly ask, “What the hell is happening, and why the hell do we need this?”

Counterattack actions in Zaporozhye also had their effect. That is, Ukraine not only didn’t lose control of the troops after the Russian offensive but can also counterattack and reclaim its territories, improving its tactical position, and doing so with much smaller losses than Russia paid for these territories.

The Holodomor tactic didn’t work. Billions of dollars spent on missiles and drones did not achieve their strategic goal. The people withstood it. The fifth year of the war began. And they still haven’t managed to break us.

I don’t know about you, but I feel a certain turning point. It is still small, but it exists. The main thing is not to stop.

“Keep pressing, keep pressing, and they will crumble,” — Pavlo Petrychenko, Hero of Ukraine (posthumously), comrade of the 59th brigade.

And he was right.
