We have never delivered so many ambulances to the military at once.
Today, 51 ambulances — some of them armored — are heading to our Armed Forces. This is the result of years of collaboration with my friends Brock Bierman, Chris Fussner, and Andriy Futey, volunteers from “Ukraine Focus,” with the support of the Poroshenko Foundation. Over the years, they have covered thousands of kilometers — from Normandy to Donetsk. Incredible dedication, incredible experience, incredible love for Ukraine.
During this cooperation, we have managed to deliver over 400 ambulances to Ukraine. This is true public diplomacy. Because people from the USA, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, and, of course, Ukraine worked on this project.
Today’s transfer is another example of true Ukrainian-American partnership. Despite all challenges, Ukraine and the USA must remain together in this fight. The unity of allies, the support of the American people, and the US Congress are key preconditions for our victory and the preservation of Ukraine.
The enemy attacks Ukrainian cities every day, destroys homes, takes lives. And that is why we must do everything to save our people — both at the front and at home.
Ukraine cannot be broken. This is what our Armed Forces prove every day, including the territorial defense units that are receiving these vehicles today. We are also handing over one of the cars to the legendary Medical Volunteer Battalion Hospitallers Paramedics of Yana Zinkevych — people who save the lives of our soldiers on the hottest fronts every day.
