To understand how the pro-Russian fifth column in our country truly operates and how it attempts to ally itself with the government and use the image of “defenders of Zelensky,” one should look at the latest attacks on me following the interview on the “Bombardier” channel.
In this interview, I clearly state that the war occurred because Ukrainians from the first day of independence did not realize the danger and in elections – always from 1991 onwards – voted for whoever would best negotiate with Russia. I specifically make an exception for the 2004 elections, but remind that the victory there was conditioned by the Maidan, and the new president’s first visit was to Moscow. The interviewer specifically clarifies whether the same was true in 2014, and I confirm this. Thus, 2019 appears to be a logical continuation of the process of national blindness. And by the way, this process continues. You know yourself how many people still believe that it is possible to negotiate with Putin and are already looking for someone who could do so.
What do propagandists do? Of course, they rush to defend Zelensky and, I’m sure, they also get paid for it. They argue against a thesis I did not express, that the issue lies solely in 2019, – a thesis I actually expressed, that the slide into war began in 1991. And for what?
Because these people before the war were not only servicing the office but also the fifth column of Moscow. They served its interests, they served the interests of Medvedchuk and were logically delegated by their handlers to assist the new government, colorful and focused on financial success rather than values. And their main task is to sow discord and help those they have always truly served. Those whose like-minded allies they have always been, since the times of Yanukovych and even earlier.
Yes, they are digging a grave for us, Ukrainian statesmen. But the irony of fate is that in this grave, along with us, Zelensky, whom they so zealously defend, is predictably expected to end up.
I just don’t understand why he is being paid for this funeral.
