Today (April 3, 2026 – Ed.) government officials visited the open office of European Solidarity for the first time.
They discussed with the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and the Ministers of Economy and Finance Ukraine’s fulfillment of obligations under the Ukraine Facilities, IMF, and European integration programs. Such a dialogue in a parliamentary-presidential republic should be the norm, not a one-time event, so it’s time to return to the norm and government accountability to parliament.
They emphasized the importance of timely and quality preparation of bills. We will support bills that comply with European directives but do not contain lobbying corrupt norms.
Regarding the military tax, “ES” insists on directing this tax exclusively to finance the Armed Forces. We consider it necessary to introduce such a norm in the transitional provisions of the Tax and Budget Codes, and we received assurances from government officials in support of this idea.
At the same time, some bills require serious refinement, particularly on environmental standards and unified registers of bank accounts.
“ES” is open to constructive cooperation on issues of European integration, preservation of decentralization, and insists on mutual respect in the dialogue between the government and opposition factions.
